Tokki Korean ("we") is operated by Tokki AI. This policy explains what we collect when you use korean.tokki-ai.com and why. Contact: kei@tokki-ai.com.

What we collect

• An account ID created automatically when you start learning. If you connect Google, your Google email.
• Learning records: completed episodes and Hangul units, quiz results, learning days, character affinity.
• Messages you send to characters and their replies.
• Voice recordings you make for voice input or pronunciation checks. We send them for processing and do not store them.
• Feedback you send us, with the page you sent it from and your browser type.
• If you turn on notifications: your browser's push address and time zone.
• Usage events (for example "episode completed") linked to your account ID, without cookies.

Services that process your data

• Supabase — database and sign-in.
• Vercel — hosting.
• Anthropic — generates character replies and reminder messages from your chat messages.
• Microsoft Azure AI Speech — speech recognition, pronunciation scoring and voices.
• ElevenLabs — character voices (character lines only, never your voice).
• PostHog (United States) — product analytics. No session recording, no advertising.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — checks that sign-ups are made by people.
• Paddle — payments, as merchant of record. We never see your card details.
• Your browser's push service (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft) — delivers notifications.

Why

To run the lessons and character chats, keep your progress, send the notifications you asked for, prevent abuse, and understand which parts of the app help people learn. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account is active. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app. To access or delete your data, email us from the address linked to your account (or include your account ID shown in the app) and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Tokki Korean is not intended for children under 13.
